Download The Dark Triad Of Personality As A Moderator Of The Relationship Between Workplace Stressors And Counterproductive Work Behaviors books, In this study, I attempted to determine if the three facets of the Dark Triad (Psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and Narcissism) moderate the relationship between specific Stressors (Composite Organizational Justice, Person-Organization Value Fit, Overqualification) and Counterproductive Work Behaviors (CWB). Previous research has shown that there is a positive relationship between stressors and counterproductive work behaviors, as well as a positive relationship between Dark Triad facets and counterproductive work behaviors. Research has also shown a consistent trend of other moderating influences on the relationship between stressors and CWB. However, despite clear conceptual links between the Dark Triad, CWB, and Stressors, little research has been done to show the potential of the Dark Triad facets potentially adding moderating relationship. A sample of several hundred participants working full time was collected and given an online survey consisting of several measures. The relationship between Dark Triad, Stressors, and specific CWB was evaluated using moderated multiple regression analysis. Partial support was found for the moderating relationship, suggesting opportunities for further research, specifically into the relationship between the Dark Triad and Perceived Organizational Justice as a stressor.
